What is a special occasion donation?
Answer: If you’re looking for a meaningful and memorable way to celebrate a special occasion, consider a donation to Gilda’s Club Metro Detroit. It’s a great way to honor guests and also show your commitment to helping provide free social and emotional support to people affected by cancer. The host/hostess makes a donation to Gilda’s Club in lieu of giving a party favor.
Can I add personal information to the announcements?
Answer: You may choose to personalize the table card by choosing to add a name and date to the item.
How long does it take to receive the announcements? How much does shipping cost?
Answer: Standard ground shipping is included in the donation amount and typically arrives within 10 days. If you prefer expedited shipping to receive within seven days, it is an additional $20. All shipments are U.S. deliveries only.
How many donation announcements can I order?
Answer: The quantity of personalized table cards you may order is determined by your donation amount. Most people donate $2-$5 per guest.
What do the special occasion donation announcements look like?
Answer: All announcements are printed on white card stock. Table cards can be personalized to include name(s) and date. Cards can also include in honor or memory of special (there are space limits). (In order to receive personalized announcements, the minimum donation is $100.)

I am a guest attending a special occasion – can I give a donation in honor of the host/hostess?
Answer: Tribute donations are a wonderful opportunity to honor someone. You may make a tax-deductible donation to Gilda’s Club Metro Detroit in honor of a friend or loved one(s). A special tribute card will be mailed to the recipient(s). The donation amount will not be disclosed.
