After a yearlong “Burn the Mortgage” campaign, we are celebrating the payoff of the half-million dollar mortgage on our clubhouse. Special thanks to Cooper Standard, a global automotive supplier, who joined forces with Gilda’s Club Metro Detroit to create the “Burn the Mortgage” campaign.
Lead by Cooper Standard’s North American President Bill Pumphrey, and with the support from other auto suppliers and a determined Gilda’s Club community, the campaign worked to lift the burden of the daunting mortgage on the clubhouse where we host our many free programs. This March, Gilda’s Club presented a check to Chemical Bank for $505,000.
